Free Play is west Michigan's
premier experimental concert series. Hosted by Grand Valley State University, it
features the most important performers and composers
of our time. Our guest artists have performed at the
most prestigious venues throughout the world, with
accolades including Grammy nominations and
performances on Oscar-winning film soundtracks. Each
Free Play concert is the culmination of a residency,
which includes guest lectures, masterclasses, and many
other opportunities for the local community to
interact with the artists.
